Hurst Lake is another of our most northerly single cabin private lakes located on the Attwood River system. Hurst Lake covers 3,200 acres and is fed by the Attwood River flowing in a short distance north of the camp and the Witchwood River flowing in just a short distance south of the camp. This lake offers exceptional catches of above average sized walleye and northern pike. Some lake trout are also caught in the Spring and Fall. Brook trout fishing is available in the Attwood River where it exits at the east end of the lake. This camp has a two bedroom cabin and is available for groups of 4 to 8.
Auger Lake is our most northerly single cabin private lake. It covers 2,100 acres and even on the windiest days this irregular shaped lake offers plenty of protection for fishing. This lake boasts large catches of walleye averaging 2½ to 3 pounds and very plentiful northern pike. You can also experience more walleye and northern pike fishing on Secret Lake which is accessible over a short portage where you will find another boat and motor. This great camp has a two bedroom log cabin available for groups of 4 to 8.
Luella Lake is located near the headwaters of the Attwood River System approximately 70 miles north of our seaplane base.
Luella offers great lake trout fishing from Spring to Fall, with depths reaching well over 100 ft. Walleye and northern can be caught in either the main lake or by walking a short portage to another lake where a boat and motor is already set up for you.
This new cabin is suitable for groups of 2 to 7 and the only outpost on the lake.
Those interested in brook trout can anticipate spectacular catches in the many rapids and pools on the Attwood River after it flows out of the lake.
